Version 2022.4 is now available.

The new version of Security updates is generally available (GA) and can be downloaded from your Customer Portal.

What’s new in the 2022.4 release:

Access Rights Manager (ARM)

  • Creation of Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) guest accounts - Accounts can now be created in Azure AD with external email addresses
  • Recertification of Azure AD group memberships - Azure AD group memberships can now be included in the recertification with the new version
  • A new view of accounts in the web client - The display of accounts and actions for accounts in the web client has been redesigned to follow the look and feel of SolarWinds

Security Event Manager (SEM)

  • Import and Export of Rules - Administrators can export rules from SEM to a JSON file, and all users can import rules
  • Query Tags and Thresholds - These are used to group queries and determine the severity level and colors in the new dashboard widgets
  • Export nodes - All or selected node information can be exported as a CSV file

Security Observability

  • Security Observability (SecObs) helps organizations better understand the complexities within their environments while providing real-time visibility to help detect and remediate security issues. With the integration of two of our security solutions, ARM and SEM, into SolarWinds Hybrid Cloud Observability, organizations can now monitor their security posture and compliance status on a dedicated security dashboard.

Other Improvements:

  • Enhancement of Exchange Online configuration
  • Improved security
  • Improved Saved and Schedule Query options
  • Improved Remote Agent Installer credentials dialog
